PGs, hotels in Gurgaon booked for not keeping records of inmates, guests | Delhi News


The Gurgaon police have initiated action against guesthouse and paying guest (PG) operators and hotels who failed to maintain records of inmates.

During an investigation on Saturday, the officials found two hotels and PGs operating without valid licences and did not keep records of individuals staying there. They also did not undergo police verification, they said.

The police registered cases against the owners/operators identified as Vipin Kumar and Nalin Gambhir in Sector-50 and Sector-56 police stations.

The police have directed all the operators to ensure proper maintenance of records, including documents for police verification, and photocopies of IDs of tenants or guests.

In July the police took action against commercial units such as salons, dieticians, customer care centres, corporate offices etc that operated from residential spaces in Gurgaon without valid licence.
