A Dainik Jagran journalist, named Vimal, was shot dead in Bihar’s Araria district early on Friday, news agency PTI reported.

According to the police, Vimal was shot dead at around 5:30 am in Raniganj market area. “The FSL team is at the spot, deceased’s body was taken for post-mortem. Efforts are underway to nab the accused,” Ashok Kumar Singh, SP, Araria told PTI.
