Ex-MLA Kadam gets bail in 11th case, likely to be released today’ | Mumbai News
Former MLA of the NCP Ramesh Kadam was granted bail in the 11th case charged against him, paving way for his release — eight years after his arrest. Kadam is likely to be released on Sunday.
In 2015, Kadam was arrested in connection with alleged misappropriation of funds when he was chairman of the Lokshahir Annabhau Sathe Magasvargiya Vikas Mahamandal.

Multiple cases were filed against him in various districts, including Beed, Parbhani and Jalna. Earlier, this year, he was granted bail by the Bombay High Court in one of the cases, following which special courts and other courts granted him bail, over the past few months.
On Friday, he was granted bail in connection with a case filed over allegedly threatening a medical officer visiting Byculla jail in 2016, where Kadam was lodged.
The court on Friday took into note that he was granted bail in all other cases and never formally arrested in this case and hence can be ordered to be released.
