Nayanthara makes Instagram debut ahead of Jawan trailer, shares video with sons Uyir and Ulagam: ‘Tell them…’ | Tamil News
To everyone’s surprise, Nayanthara, fondly called Lady Superstar by her fans, has made her foray on Instagram. Nayanthara, who avoids social media and public appearances like the plague, seems to have had a change of mind. Her Instagram debut took place shortly before Jawan trailer is supposed to land. Jawan is Nayanthara’s first film in Hindi cinema and stars her with Shah Rukh Khan. The actress, however, was absent from a pre-release event that took place on Wednesday in Chennai.
The actress shared a video of her carrying her sons Uyir and Ulagam and striking a stylish pose. The trio were seen dressed in white and were sporting sunglasses. She captioned the post, “Naan vandhutaen nu sollu… (Tell them I have arrived).”
The twins look adorable wearing coolers and Nayanthara chose to play Jailer’s Hukum song in the background to complement her swag. Watch the video here:
Nayanthara’s husband Vignesh Shivan welcomed her and commented, “My uyirs welcome to IG.”

So far, we only got glimpses of Nayanthara’s life through Vignesh Shivan’s Instagram account. The director keeps sharing pictures from their trips and important moments. Now, with her new social media presence fans are elated and in a matter of few minutes the account received thousands of followers.
Nayanthara will next be seen in Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, which marks her debut in Bollywood. She will be playing an action role and will pulling off a lot of stunts in the film. The actress couldn’t make it to the pre-release event that was conducted in Chennai. Atlee said that Nayanthara couldn’t make it to the event as she was still in Kerala for the Onam celebrations.
Other than Jawan, Nayanthara has Iraivan, Test, and an untitled film which is tentatively called Lady Superstar 75. She is also part of Jayam Ravi’s sequel to the hit film Thani Oruvan, which was announced on Monday.
