2 more held in Delhi Amazon executive murder | Delhi News
The Delhi Police have arrested two more people in connection with the murder of a senior official with the Amazon that took place in Delhi’s Bhajanpura on August 29, officials said.
The police have identified the arrested as Sohail alias Bawarchi, 23, and Jubair alias Kasawra, 23.
“Following a tip-off, Sohail alias Bawarchi and Jubair alias Kasawra were apprehended on Thursday near Burari while they were trying to escape to Punjab from Delhi,” said DCP (Northeast) Joy Tirkey.
According to the police, Harpreet Gill, 36, a senior executive of the Amazon, was shot dead by five members of ‘Maya’ gang. Gill’s maternal uncle Govind Singh sustained injuries on the right ear in the attack.

Earlier, the police arrested the gang leader Mohammed Sameer alias Maya and his accomplice Bilal Gani. During interrogation, Maya said that Harpreet had slapped Sohail a few days ago over a shoulder touch due to which he held a grudge and planned to attack him, the police said.
The five assailants came on a bike and confronted Harpreet at a narrow lane in Bhajanpura and shot him on the head, the police said.
Search is on for the fifth person involved in the murder, they said.
