Bazooka second look: Mammootty takes his swagger game up a notch; Deeno Dennis’ thriller aims for 2024 release | Malayalam News
Months after releasing the film’s first look poster, Team Bazooka has unveiled its second look poster, showcasing megastar Mammootty exuding even more swagger and style.
The new poster presents Mammootty with lustrous locks gracefully tied in a bun, complemented by stylish shades, standing beside a vintage car. Sporting a thick moustache and beard, he emanates a raw and captivating aura.

Alongside the release of the second poster, the makers have also announced that the film is scheduled to hit the screens in 2024. Billed as a stylish thriller, Bazooka is directed by debutant filmmaker Deeno Dennis, son of veteran scriptwriter Kaloor Dennis.
The film is bankrolled jointly by Jinu Abraham and Siddharth Anand Kumar under the banners of Theatre of Dreams and Yoodlee Films, the movie studio arm of Saregama India Limited, respectively.

The film’s title poster, which the makers released in April, itself had raised many eyebrows. Though the slick poster didn’t showcase Mammootty’s face, it hinted at what the film was going to be about. Dressed in a black suit, Mammootty stood facing his back to the audiences, surrounded by men with their guns pointed at him.
While Nimish Ravi, who won hearts for his work in Kurup (2021), Rorschach (2022) and King of Kotha (2023), has handled Bazooka’s cinematography, Nishadh Yusuf has joined the film as the editor. Its music has been composed by Midhun Mukundan, who rose to fame through his collaboration with Kannada filmmaker Raj B Shetty with whom he worked in films such as Garuda Gamana Vrishabha Vahana (2021), Ondu Motteya Kathe (2017) and Toby (2023).
