Christmas bazaar at Khotachiwadi
A two-day market has been set up inside Khotachiwadi, one of the oldest parts of Mumbai that has been home to East Indians and Maharashtrians. Expect pieces of art from 47-A and 47-G, sugar-free dark chocolates and gummies from Caim, accessories from Baro Market, apparel from Erode, Jodi and Homeland Elegies, and Christmas bakes from Mag St Bread Co. among others. Adding to the festivities would be Christmas songs and carols by Bernice, who will perform on Saturday evening at 5.30 pm.

Jasleen Royal in the house
The soulful voice behind Ranjha (Shershaah), Kho Gaye Hum Kahan (Baar Baar Dekho), Din Shagna Da (Phillauri) and most recently Heeriye, Jasleen Royal is performing live in Mumbai this weekend. One of the most promising female singers in the industry, the young musician also received the Filmfare Award for Best Music Director for Shershaah.

The life and times of Amir Khusrau
The NCPA in collaboration with aRANYA Production presents a dastangoi on the life and times of Amir Khusrau. Titled Jo Dooba So Paar, it highlights the human that Khusrau was, his relationship with his guru Nizamuddin Auliya and the advent of qawwali through them. Produced by Manav Kaul, the 100-minute dastangoi in Hindi, Urdu and Persia presents insights into the essence of Sufism and the importance of the eternally relevant message of love among humankind.

A stand-up comedy workshop
Co-founder of East India Comedy Kunal Rao has put together a two-day stand-up comedy workshop for budding comedians and writers. Titled ‘Zero To 60’, it will see Rao teach the attendees the basics of structuring a joke, tapping into their style as well as equipping them with tools that come in handy on stage. Available for those aged 18 and above, the attendees would also be receiving a Level 1 completion certificate from DeadAnt upon completing the workshop.
